Meet Max Cohen
Experience at the highest levels. Coaching for every level.
Max Cohen is a PGA of Canada Class “A” Teaching Professional with a lifelong passion for the game and nearly a decade of experience competing professionally around the world.
After playing collegiate golf at Concordia University Irvine and College of the Canyons, where he recorded multiple wins, Max competed in the 2010 U.S. Amateur Championship at Chambers Bay before turning professional in 2012. His professional career took him around the world, competing on the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour China, PGA Tour Latino América, Golden State Tour, and China Golf Association Tour.
Along the way, Max has earned multiple professional victories, including the 2022 Golden Ears Open and 2025 Cultus Lake Open, holds three course records, and set the Golden State Tour’s 36-hole scoring record at an incredible 18-under par. He continues to compete in PGA of BC, PGA of Canada and local professional events.
But for Max, great coaching isn't about teaching everyone to swing like a tour professional.
It's about meeting you where you are.
For more than five years, Max has coached golfers ranging from complete beginners and juniors to competitive players and professionals. His approach combines strong fundamentals and years of competitive experience with coaching that is practical, encouraging and personalized to the individual in front of him.
Whether you're holding a club for the first time, trying to finally break 90, preparing for competition, or simply want to enjoy your rounds more, Max's goal is the same: help you understand your game, build confidence in your abilities, and give you the tools to keep improving long after the lesson ends.
Because better golf isn't about chasing the perfect swing.
It's about building a game you can trust.
